We wanted local honey we would be proud to serve in our restaurants, so we decided to learn beekeeping ourselves. A few hives, plenty of stings, and a lot of trial and error later, Lady May Honey-Makers was born.

Jon is the one checking the hives, watching the weather, caring for the bees, and guiding each harvest. He is a huge part of every jar we bottle.
