Local honey began with what we wanted to serve.

We wanted local honey we would be proud to serve in the restaurant, so we learned beekeeping. Jon tends the hives, watches the weather, and guides small-batch harvests served at The Lady May and offered for your table at home.

AN ODE TO OUR GRANDMOTHERS

Two family kitchens still guide ours.

Will Taylor grew up eating at his grandmother’s table in West Point, Mississippi. Chris McDonald grew up doing the same in New Orleans. The Lady May brings those Southern and Italian Catholic food traditions together—then follows wherever the recipes lead.
